Registering for E-Time

Before users can log into the Construct CT app, they must possess an E-Time license. Users can register for E-Time in order to receive an E-Time license.

Construct CT Menu Maintenance

In order to see all of the different programs that constitute the Construct CT app, users must assign those programs to their security role in the Security Roles screen. The Security Roles screen can be accessed through E-Time (standard Treeview path: E-Time > Security > Role Maintenance). Users should then select the Assign Programs option, shown below.

NOTE: The Security Roles screen launched from the E-Time module contains security options and settings that are not widely available in the security screens launched from other modules (e.g., CMiC Field, ESS, etc.). The screens being discussed here are only available for assignment in the Security Roles screen located in E-Time.

The programs relevant to the Construct CT app are highlighted below.

After assigning access to these programs, they will appear in the Construct CT menu.

Logging in to Construct CT

Once the user is registered to E-Time and has their SSO mapped to an access code, they can download the app and log in. The Construct CT app can be downloaded for both iOS and Android devices from the Apple and Google Play stores.

Upon opening the Construct CT app, users are presented with two options for logging in. All users are prompted for their Construct CT username and password. Enterprise customers are asked for the URL to the server their company is using and Cloud customers are asked for their Tenant ID. Cloud customers need not worry about any patches or updates to their CMiC environment, they need only enter their login details.

Once the user is registered to E-Time and has their SSO mapped to an access code, they can download the app and log in. The main dashboard, shown above, appears upon log in. Press the Menu icon (Image of menu icon, three lines.) to see the full menu.

Default Project and Crew

To select a default project, press the Project field in the menu. This will launch the Select Projects pop-up, shown below. Select the project here or press [Cancel] to exit this screen.
