CMiC Field - Budget Status Query (Revenue)

Budget Status Query; standard Treeview path: CMiC Field > Budget & Cost Management > Budget Status Query

The Budget Status Query screen shows the expected revenue values (based on the Job Cost Budget – revenue values). PCI values included would show only the billed amounts, not the budgeted amounts.

The Budget Status Query screen is also available by category (standard Treeview path: CMiC Field > Budget & Cost Management > Budget Status Query (Category)).

NOTE: Users require access to the program 'Job Status Queries' to drill down into items on the Budget Status Query and Budget Status Query (Category) screens. For more information, please refer to Assigning Programs.

NOTE: Only budgeted revenue amounts will be used. For internal change orders, there is no billing amount, hence the query will not show internal change order amounts. The column title is irrelevant.

NOTE: Any statuses (pending status or pre-pending status) with the ‘Forecast’ box checked will only be included in the query.

Original Revenue Budget

This column displays the original revenue budget from the JC Enter Budget screen in the Job Costing module (standard Treeview path: Job Costing > Job > Enter Budget). For more information, please refer to Job Costing - JC Enter Budget .

Internal And Transfer CO

This column displays posted internal & transfer COs and allows users to drill-down for more details.

External COs

This column displays posted external COs and allows users to drill-down for more details.

Current Revenue Budget

This column is calculated as:

Current Revenue Budget = Original Revenue Budget + Posted Changes (Internal and Transfer CO/External CO) Amounts

Pending CO

This column displays the pending external, OB, and transfer COs and allows users to drill-down for more details.

Pre-pending CO

This column displays pre-pending COs and allows users to drill-down for more details.

Projected Revenue Budget

This column is calculated as:

Projected Revenue Budget = Current Revenue Budget + Unposted Changes (Pending/Pre-pending COs) Amounts

Budget Status Query (Category)

The Budget Status Query screen is also available at the category level (standard Treeview path: CMiC Field > Budget & Cost Management > Budget Status Query (Category)). This screen is similar to the Budget Status Query screen and includes additional data columns.

Comments

This field is read-only and displays comments entered when a bid item is created and the budget is updated with the [Update Budget] button on the Bid Items screen. For more information, please refer to Updating the Budget with Bid Items.

NOTE: The Comments column can be added to the Budget Status Query (Category) screen using CMiC Field - Log Builder.
