New Features and Enhancements

Feature Summary Description
Patch 20-2 Features
Construct CT App Settings Construct CT app settings stored at the database level. The Construct CT app settings have been upgraded to be stored at the database level, ensuring consistency across platforms. Users can now access and view the same settings on both the desktop and mobile versions of the application.
Crew Maintenance Visibility of Manage By Crew toggle controlled by E-Time role privilege. The "Manage by Crew" toggle is now visible or hidden based on the 'Allow Manage by Crew' privilege in the E-Time Role Maintenance screen. If a user has the required role, the option to manage by crew will be available under Construct CT settings, allowing the foreman to choose between managing by crew or project. If the user does not have the role, the option will not be visible.
Crew Time Expense Added Crew Time Expense feature. We are excited to introduce a new feature, Crew Time Expense, designed to enhance the functionality of the Construct CT app. This feature empowers foreman and superintendents to enter expenses directly through the Crew Timesheet Entry screen, streamlining the process and increasing efficiency. To learn more about using this new feature, refer to Construct CT - Expense and Approval.
Crew Timesheet Added equipment job category validation. For crew timesheets, the equipment job category from the equipment setup will be validated against the job and phase in the job setup during posting. If missing or invalid, the system defaults to the labor category, prompting users to resolve errors.
Patch 19-2 Features
Crew Maintenance Default crew time category based on priority level. Users can now add and prioritize multiple default categories for cost code assignment. The system now intelligently assigns the first matching default category based on user-defined priority sequences under the Crew Timesheet Configuration screen. To learn more about using this new feature, refer to Construct CT - Assigning Default Categories.
Dashboard Added Labor Productivity Dashboard. Introducing the Productivity Dashboard, an intuitive tool designed to streamline your work process and easily grasp your costs immediately after your shift ends. Daily evaluation is crucial, especially for repetitive tasks. Timely adjustments prevent small discrepancies from snowballing into significant overruns before they are caught in weekly or monthly reports.
Timesheet Approval Enhanced crew timesheet approval. The crew timesheet approval process has been enhanced to allow the rejection of previously approved timesheets.
