Integration with Financial Document Formatter (FDF) 2.0

Why is it Useful?

Users of FDF 2.0 can view and interact with their processed financial documents within BI reports. They can do financial analysis, compare the same financial documents across periods, and create rich visualizations – not just tables.

NOTE: This feature was released in Patch 19.

How Does it Work?

FDF 2.0 contains new screens and buttons to facilitate the integration.

Pgm: SYSOPT – System Options; standard Treeview path: System > Setup > System Options – Financials tab

In addition, setting up the default data source, folder, and security role for the auto-generated BI queries can be done in the Financials tab of the System Options screen in the System Data module.
