Construct PM – Getting Started

Downloading the Construct PM App

The Construct PM app can be downloaded for both iOS and Android devices from the Apple and Google Play stores.

Logging In

Log in screens for Cloud, Enterprise, and Collaborate customers.

Upon opening the Construct PM app, users are presented with three options for logging in. All users are prompted for their Construct PM username and password. Enterprise customers are asked for the URL to the server their company is using for Field and Cloud customers are asked for their Tenant ID. Cloud customers need not worry about any patches or updates to their CMiC environment, they need only enter their login details. Please note that Cloud customers should decide whether to log into Atlas Server or Nova Server. Nova Server is selected by default.

The Home Screen

This is the first screen that users see once they successfully log in to Construct PM. This screen shows a basic summary of the current project, including the project address.

Info

Press the Info icon () to view a short description of the current project.

Photo Upload

Press the Photo Upload icon () in the top right corner of the screen to upload/edit the project photo. Users can either take a new photo with the device's camera, attach a file from the device library, or remove the current project photo.

This feature is only available for admin users with the security role privilege 'Projects – Edit'. For more information, please refer to Security Roles.

Update Status

This icon displays at-a-glance information about the update status of the project.

Icon	Description
	Project is being updated. Data sync is in progress.
	Project is up to date. Data sync is completed.
	Project has update issues. Data sync has upload/download failures.
	Project is offline. Data will sync when online.

Details

Press this link to launch the Update Details screen to view the update status of the project download. If there are update issues, press the Info icon to launch the Review Records screen to view the error log, as shown in the screenshot below:

Press the Resynchronize Data icon () to resynchronize data.

Set Your Location

Press this button to launch the Location Code pop-up to select a default location code. The widget will display how many issues and punch list items exist for that location code.

From here, the rest of the app can be accessed by pressing the Main Menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.

To change projects, press the arrows next to the project name in the Main Menu.

The Main Menu icon appears in the top-left corner for all Mobile Field screens. Pressing it reveals the main menu, as shown above.

All the screens within Construct PM are shown in this menu, along with the number of records of that type that exist for the project. Press a screen's icon to bring up that screen.

Settings

Press this icon to bring up the Construct PM settings menu, which includes the Log Out icon. For more information, please refer to Construct PM – Settings.

Current Project

This displays the currently selected project within Construct PM. Press this field to select another project available to the user.
