Is there a way to not show closed or discontinued records on the Table Mode of certain screens?

This is not possible unless they are filtered out. The best option would be to use the Data Filters section on the screen to filter out any closed lines by creating a quick filter.

Note Data Filters are not available on every screen, but they are available on most.

If the Data Filters section is not already available, navigate to the Table Mode tab of the Lite Editor and check the Show Quick Filter box to enable the Data Filters section for this screen. For more information, see Lite Editor - Table Mode - Tab.

Under the Data Filters section of a screen, click the [Add Values] button to add the Closed field as a filter, then set the operator to "Equals" and the value to "N", as shown in the screenshot below. This can be saved as a filter profile by clicking on the [Save Profile As] button, then it can be set as default and auto-executed by toggling the respective options on, as shown in the screenshot below.
