CMiC Field Security - RFIs

Security Roles

The following security settings are located on the CMiC Field - Security Roles screen.

	Name of item	Assigning this item to your Security Role means you can...
Programs	RFI	Open the RFIs screen.
Menu Items	RFIs	View the RFIs screen in the Treeview menu.
Privileges	RFI – Create	Use the [Create RFI] button.
	RFI – Make Record Public	Use the 'Public Record' checkbox on the RFI Detail tab of the RFIs screen.

Project Roles

The following privileges are located in the Request For Information section of the pop-up window launched from the 'View/Create/Update/Delete All Objects' link on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
View All	View all RFIs, regardless of who made them. If unchecked, then the user can only view RFIs which involve the user.
Create All	Allow the user to change who the RFI is from. If unchecked, the user will only be able to send RFIs from their own user account.
Update All	Edit RFIs.
Delete All	Delete RFIs.

The following privilege is located below the 'View/Create/Update/Delete All Objects' link on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
Restricted View for all RFIs	View all RFIs from C-Type (internal) users and contacts also assigned to the project company.

The following privileges are located in the Send/Receive section on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
Forward RFI	Forward RFIs to other users.
Send Partner RFI	Allow the user to send RFIs to all project contacts. If unchecked, the user can only send RFIs to C-Type users.
Receive Partner RFI	Allow the user to receive RFIs from P-Type users.
Redirect RFI	Allow the user to redirect RFI to other users.
Send I/O Email	Use the [I/O Email] button.

The following privileges are located in the Workflow section on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
Workflow Button - RFI	Add the [Workflow] button to the Main Toolbar for a RFI.
Disable PCI Printing Until Approved	Disable the [Print] button in the Main Toolbar until the PCI is approved in the workflow.

The following privileges are located in the Reviewers Table section on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Hide Reviewers Section – RFIs	Hide the Reviewers section in the RFIs screen.
Allow P-type Users To Select A Reviewer Template - RFIs	Allow P-type users to select a reviewer template.
Allow P-type Users To Add Reviewers - RFIs	Allow P-type users to add reviewers.
Allow P-type Users To Save A Project Level Reviewer Template - RFIs	Allow P-type users to save a project-level reviewer template.
Create New Review Cycle - RFIs	Create a new review cycle.

The following privileges are located in the Other section on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
Allow For Adding Notes And Attachments To Closed RFIs	Add notes and attachments to closed RFIs.
No RFI Answer Entry	Edit the Answered Date and Answered By fields.
Allow to Answer an RFI	Edit the Answer field.
