CMiC Field Security - PCIs

Security Roles

The following security settings are located on the CMiC Field - Security Roles screen.

	Name of item	Assigning this item to your Security Role means you can...
Programs	Potential Change Items	Open the Potential Change Items screen.
	PCI Projection	Open the PCI Projection screen.
	PCI Markup Rules	Open the PCI Markup Rules screen.
	Column Configuration	Configure the PCI Details section on the PCI screen at a company or user level.
Menu Items	Potential Change Items	View the Potential Change Items screen in the Treeview menu.
	PCI Projection	View the PCI Projection screen in the Treeview menu.
	PCI Markup Rules	View the PCI Markup Rules screen in the Treeview menu.
	Column Configuration	Configure the PCI Details section on the PCI screen at a company or user level.
Privileges	PCIs – Create from and Link to other objects	Link PCIs to other objects within Field and create them in the screens for those objects.
	Endless Scroll For PCI Details	Enable infinite scrolling in the PCI Details section on the PCI screen.
	Markup Rules - Edit	Create, edit and copy markup rules in the PCI Markup Rules screen.

Project Roles

The following privileges are located in the Posting - Voiding section on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
Post PCI (External, Internal, Transfer, Original Budget)	Post different kinds of PCIs.
Edit Posted PCI Dates	Edit details on posted PCIs.
Modify Posted PCI	Use the [Modify Posted PCI] button (to edit posted PCIs via revisions).
Allow for adding posted PCI's to unposted OCO's	Link already posted PCIs to owner change orders that have yet to be posted.

The following privileges are located in the Workflow section on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
Workflow Button - PCI	Add the [Workflow] button to the Main Toolbar for a PCI.
Disable PCI Printing Until Approved	Disable the [Print] button in the Main Toolbar until the PCI is approved in the workflow.

The following privileges are located in the Other section on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Delete PCI Detail line when restricted	Delete PCI Detail Line when the 'Restrict Deletion of PCI Detail Lines' system option is enabled on the General tab of the Project System Options screen.
Allow Batch Edit on PCI	Allow batch edits of PCIs.
