CMiC Field Security - Journals

Security Roles

The following security settings are located on the CMiC Field - Security Roles screen.

	Name of item	Assigning this item to your Security Role means you can...
Programs	Daily Journal	Open the Daily Journal screen.
Menu Items	Daily Journal	View the Daily Journal screen in the Treeview menu.
Privileges	Daily Journal – Create	Create new Daily Journal records.
	Daily Journal – Edit Own Records	Edit your own Daily Journal records.
	Daily Journal – Access to...tab	Access the different tabs of the Daily Journal screen

Project Roles

The following privileges are located in the Daily Report section of the pop-up window launched from the 'View/Create/Update/Delete All Objects' link on the CMiC Field - Project Roles screen.

Checkbox	Check this box to...
View All	View all journals on the project, regardless of who made them. If unchecked, then the user can only view journals submitted by their company.
Create All	Allow the user to change who the journal is from. If unchecked, the user will only be able to send journals from their own user account.
Update All	Edit Daily Journals.
Delete All	Delete Daily Journals.
