CMiC Field - I/O Email Format

CMiC has updated its I/O email format for the following objects:

• Communications

• RFIs

• Issues

• Submittals

• Daily Journals

• Punch Lists

The I/O feature will function as it did before. Upon receiving an I/O email, users can either respond directly to the email, or press the link provided at the bottom of the email to open the object directly. Please note that different objects have slightly different templates.

The logo that appears at the top of the email is pulled from the Company Logo field in Company Set-up. This is the same logo that appears on many of the reports produced from CMiC. Information about setting up company logos can be found in Getting Started - Setting Up Company Logo.

Examples of the template and I/O email sent for RFIs are provided below.
