Preventive Maintenance - Physically Complete Work Item

Pgm: PRMCLSWIP – Physically Complete Work Item; standard Treeview path: Preventive Maintenance > Close Out > Physically Close Work Item

This screen is used to mark work items as physically complete. This means the task accumulator(s) will be reset and further task accumulators are not allowed. The work order will continue to allow transactions from various applications.

NOTE: Work items that are physically completed are not considered to be closed. They must be completely closed in the Preventive Maintenance - Close Work Items screen.

Selection Criteria

Type

The default value is “Equipment” and users are not allowed to modify this field.

Class

Enter/select a valid equipment class from the available list of values or leave this field blank to include all equipment classes.

Equipment

Enter/selec a required equipment from the available list of values or leave this field blank to include all required equipment.

Work Order

Enter/selec a specific work order from the available list or leave this field blank to include all work orders.

Pending for Physical Completion of Work Items Only – Checkbox

This box is checked by default and only shows work items pending physical completion (i.e., open work items). Uncheck this box to query all work items, including those marked as "Physically Complete".

Work Items

The Work Items section retrieves records as per the filter criteria entered in the Selection Criteria section. There is a Physically Completed column to the right of the table. Users may select a required work item, which opens up the Work Item Close-Out pop-up window.

Work Items

This section contains a list of work items based on the selection criteria specified in the above section. None of the information displayed can be updated except for the ‘Physically Complete’ column.

Comp

The company code to which the work order belongs.

Code

Depending on the type of work items being displayed, this is the target code of the work items. The corresponding description for the current row is displayed at the bottom of the block.

Work Order Code

The work order to which this work item belongs.

Seq.

The line number of the work item within the work order.

Task

The task, if any, associated with the work item.

Work Item Title

The name of the work item.

Physically Complete

Select "Physically Complete" from the drop-down list to launch the Work Item Close Out pop-up, which is used to close the work item. For more information, please see Preventive Maintenance - Close Work Items.

The screen allows users to enter the date of completion and accumulator reading update. The Accumulator Reading may be updated, and users may also press the [Accumulators] button to open a pop-up window, and update the readings if there are more than one accumulator types defined.

Once all necessary updates are performed, the work item may be physically completed by pressing the [Close Work Item] button.

Costs

This field is read-only and displays how costs were entered for the selected work order. The options include "Not costed", "Entered via transactions", and "Entered at close-out". For more information, please refer to Preventive Maintenance - Enter/Edit Work Orders.
