Construct OM App – Opportunity

Overview

The opportunity record will provide key information related to the sales process. Users can easily navigate to related items, such as contacts or action items within the record. As the lead generation process begins, users will be able to create, update, and delete information throughout the sales cycle while on the go.

Opportunity Listing

The opportunity listing is what appears after selecting the Opportunity icon from the Home Page. To view an opportunity, select it from the list. Opportunities are labeled by their name, organization, and sale stage.

Search

To search for an opportunity, use the Search icon on the top header to keyword search across opportunities.

Filter

Filter records created by the user or that has the user assigned as the sales rep. Filter by:

  • Stage of the current opportunity.

  • Company the opportunity was created in.

Sort

Tap the Date Modified field to sort opportunities by date modified or name. Tap the arrow next to the Sort option to sort in ascending or descending order.

Add

The Plus icon will add a new record when tapped.

Delete

Tap and hold a record for a Delete pop-up window to appear. Tap the "Delete" option to delete the record.

Edit Opportunity

Records can be edited by selecting them from the listing view. Related records can be viewed in this mode displaying tabs for each item type.

Creating an Opportunity

Opportunity Name

Name to identify this opportunity record.

Opportunity Code

Code to identify this opportunity record. If the ‘Automatic Opportunity Numbering’ box is checked in the OM Control File screen, with a specified prefix, this code is automatically generated. If not, enter a code.

Company

Company to which the user who created this opportunity belongs to. When a user creates an opportunity, the company associated to the user’s user ID is automatically filled in for this field.

Client/Prospect

The name of the organization (business partner) providing this opportunity.

Current Sales Stage

The current stage in the sales phase.

Source

The source of the opportunity.

Include In Forecast – Checkbox

Indicates whether to include this opportunity in the sales forecast reports of the Opportunity Management module.

Description

This field is the description of the opportunity, and the description entered here will be copied to the corresponding Description field of the associated project.

Market Sector

The market sector type belonging to a particular market sector group.

City

The city of the opportunity site used in the deduplication process.

Phone Number

The phone number of the opportunity site used in deduplication process.

Potential Revenue

Projected revenue amount for this opportunity.

Closing (%)

The calculated value is based on following fields and calculation: Go (%) x Get (%) / 100.
