Construct OM App – Contacts
Overview
The Contact screen is used to create, view, and manage contact records, which can be associated to a business partner, organization, and company records.
The contact listing is what appears after selecting the Contact icon from the home page. To view a contact, select it from the list. Contacts are labeled by their name and organization.
Search
To search for a contact, use the search icon within the header to keyword search across contacts.
Sort
Tap the Name field to sort contacts by date modified or name. Tap the arrow next to the sort option to sort in ascending or descending order.
Add
The Plus icon will add a new record when tapped.
Delete
To delete a record, tap and hold the record and a Delete pop-up window will appear. Tap the "Delete" option to confirm deletion.
Edit Contact
Contact records can be edited by selecting them from the list view. Related records can be viewed in this mode displaying tabs for each item type.
Creating a Contact
First Name
The contact's first name.
Last Name
The contact's last name.
Contact Type
The business partner, organization, or company, determined by the organization type of the organization with which this contact is affiliated. The selection made in this field determines what values are available for the Contact Company drop-down list.
Company
The business partner, organization, or company with which this contact is affiliated. The value selected by the Contact Type field determines what values are available in this list.
Mobile Phone
The contact's mobile phone number.
Work Phone
The contact's work phone number.
The contact's email address.
Street
The contact's street number and name.
Suite
The contact's suite number, if applicable.
City
The contact's township.
State/Province
The contact's state or province code.
Zip/Postal Code
The contact's zip code or postal code.
Country
The contact's territory location.
Check – Icon
Used to save the record.
