Opportunity Management - Store Opportunity Forecast

The Store Opportunity Forecast screen is used to create a forecast for each opportunity that is currently not a won job (i.e., all bid opportunities). The forecast will be time phased according to the spread rules assigned to the opportunity. This ensures that the start date of the opportunity keeps moving forward until the associated bid job has been run through the JC win/lose bid process, at which time the start date will be locked in. As well, the opportunities will appear in CRM Financial Project reports, if they are being used.

Company

Enter/select the company providing the opportunity.

Year, Period

Enter/select the year and period for the opportunity.

Start Date, End Date

These fields are populated by the values set in the Year and Period fields.

Status

This field is read-only and displays the number of opportunities processed after the forecast is generated.

Generate Forecast – Button

Press this button to create a forecast for any opportunities that exist in the selected date range and that are not won jobs.
