CMiC Field R12 (App) 1.0.18 Release Notes

Enterprise Customers: This app requires Mobile Hotfix B55 (14-1) or B56 (14-2). If you are running an older version of the mobile hotfix the app will continue to function but some new features will not be accessible. We will provide "best effort" support to customers running older versions of the Mobile Hotfix - but cannot guarantee resolution/delivery timelines unless you update to B55/56.

Cloud Customers: No action is required on your part.

New Features and Enhancements

Checklist Checklist (Beta) - Set Default Issue Type and Contact Based on Template In Checklist Template set-up, default Issue Contact and Type may be set - these values will now be populated by default on new issues created during checklist execution.
Checklist Checklist (Beta)- Template Security Refinements of Webservices related to Checklist execution and Template level security privileges (i.e., View, Create, Delete, Submit).
Infrastructure Field App Must Respect "LOCKED" Records Added logic to respect the "Locking" settings in the Field app (maintained through the "Locking" tab of Project System Options).
Punch List Last Selected Trade Description Should Be Default if User Repeats Same Trade Stamp The ability to create a punch list stamp with a description was one of our newest features part of the new Trade Maintenance screen at the project level. Now, a user can select a description and it will remain as the default if user repeats the same trade stamp, until the app is force-closed.
Punch List Punch List - Trade Code Maintenance Page Enhancements

After the release of the new Trade Maintenance screen, users are now able to create trade stamps at the project level with an optional default contact and descriptions. Column titles on both company and project level maintenance screens were updated for consistency across both screens. Also, several bugs were fixed:

  1. Default contact now appears during the trade stamp creation.

  2. Trade stamp is removed if user clicks away from the side-sheet without saving.

  3. Custom descriptions are now saved after user populates the field during trade stamp creation.

  4. Delete button has been added to the Punch List side-sheet.
Punch List Publish Punch List Stamp Annotations Automatically As of 1.0.18, the 'Publish punch list stamp annotations automatically' flag located in Settings has been hard-coded to default to enabled (ON). Users should now expect all punch list stamp annotations to be published automatically, unless the flag is disabled (OFF).

Feature Summary Description
Drawings Bug Fix: Web - Recent Sheets Empty Users were unable to view recent sheets on the Web deployment of the Field R12 app. This bug has been fixed.
Punch List Bug Fix: High Volume of Punch List Items Created Offline Do Not All Synch & Appear Once Back Online Users reported issues when uploading a high volume of punch list items while working offline, as some items were not synching and appearing once back online. This bug has been fixed.
RFIs RFIs - Ability to Answer an RFI Should Be Independent of Update Privilege Correction to the Webservice logic to allow users with the Answer flag to respond to RFIs addressed to them, even if they don't have the Update All flag.
