10x Changes for DocuSign (Post-October 11, 2021)

As part of DocuSign’s cyber security changes, they will be removing weak ciphers from their Production environment on October 11, 2021 (which may cause an outage with 10x clients).

NOTE: R12 clients will not be affected.

After applying the change detailed in this document, you will need to run a full cycle test from your non-production 10x system against DocuSign's demo system. This will help you avoid any outages. DocuSign has already updated its Demo environment by removing the weak ciphers to create a preview of what will happen on October 11.

To prepare for October 11, apply the changes outlined in this document to your non-production environment. Then, test it against DocuSign’s demo environment by following these steps:

  1. Sign up here for a DocuSign developer account if you do not have one.

  2. Switch your non-production server to use DocuSign’s Demo environment in the Project System Options.

  3. Publish a document from your non-production system using your DocuSign demo account and conclude the signing workflow in DocuSign to complete the entire cycle.
