Column Configuration

Column Configuration; standard Treeview path: CMiC Field > File Maintenance > Local Tables > Column Configuration

The Column Configuration screen is used to configure the PCI Details section's log when the Endless Scroll feature is being used (standard Treeview path: CMiC Field > Budget & Cost Management > Potential Change Items – PCI Details section).

This screen will display every column on the PCI Details log, in rows, with parameters for each column that control how the log displays them. Users can customize a column's display settings, such as its visibility, header title, description, and width.

Access to this screen requires the 'Column Configuration' menu and program security privileges. For more information, please refer to PCIs - CMiC Field Security.

NOTE: The PCI Details section must be converted to a standard system log in order to view column configuration. To convert the PCI Details section to a standard system log, the 'Endless Scroll for PCI Details' security privilege must be assigned. For more information, please refer to PCIs - CMiC Field Security.

Display Order

Select and drag the move icon () to change the display order of the column.

Visible – Checkbox

Check this box to make the column visible.

Locked – Checkbox

Check this box to lock the column.

Header, Description

Enter the column's header/description, as it is to be shown by the log.

Width

Enter the maximum number of characters that can be displayed by the column.

When finished setting all of the column parameters, press the [Save as Company Default] button to save at the company level or press the [Save as User Default] button to save at the user level.
