Updated Payment Processing > Adjust Voucher Status - Screen > Normal Vouchers - Tab > Table's Fields > Close Status section to include details about the "X" status.

Updated Utilities section as follows:

  • Added a new subsection for Prenote File.

  • Added a new subsection for 1099 Reporting which refers users to the 1099 Reporting - R12 reference guide.

BI Dashboard Builder - R12

Updated Visualizations section as follows:

  • Updated Drill in Place section to rename the "Drill in Place" feature to "Drillthrough" and updated screenshots accordingly. This update was also completed throughout the guide to any other sections to reflect this feature's new labeling.

  • Added new section for Treemap and Sunburst visualizations.

Updated Visualizations > Value Required Conditions section to reflect the button's name change from "Value Required Conditions" to "Value Required".

Bluebeam Integration - R12

Reviewed and updated for R12.

CMiC Field - R12

Updated CMiC Field Manager > Console Icons section to remove any details regarding the Chatbot Messenger.

Updated Using Logs section as follows:

  • Updated Common Buttons section to indicate that the [Set as Default] button is not limited to Admin-level users.

  • Added new Project Management Notifications section.

Updated CMiC Field Security section as follows:

  • Updated Contacts section to provide details about each of the screen's tabs.

  • Updated Security by Feature section with a new subsection for Subcontracts.

Updated Communication Management > RFIs section to indicate that in the Reviewer section of the screen, when a new reviewer is added, the 'Required' box is checked by default which signals that a review from this reviewer is required.

Updated Document Management section as follows:

  • Updated Documents section to provide details about attaching documents via a URL using the Use Reference Link toggle in the pop-up window launched from the [Upload] button.

  • Updated Drawing Upload and Extraction Tool section with details regarding revision and received dates.

  • Created a new section for Submittal Batch Edits.

Updated Bid Management > Importing Bid Items section to clarify that when phase segmentation is being used for bid item import and the first segment is under consideration, the phase code is validated accordingly on the Bid Item Import Validation screen.

Updated Budget & Cost Management as follows:

  • Updated Subcontracts section to reflect the fact that the Contract Type field has been moved under Vendor and above Contract No. fields.

  • Updated Potential Change Items section to include details about the fields in the PCI Details subsection.

  • Updated Owner Change Orders section with additional details to clarify that if a value is entered in the Owner's CO# field that the dates of impact are in respect to both the JB contract code and the 'OCO Completion Date by JB Contract' checkbox found in the Defaults tab of the Project Maintenance screen.

Updated Site Management > Daily Journal > Labour - Tab section with new screenshot which included the Trade field.
Updated Reports > Printing Multiple Reports section to indicate that the order in which the reports are printed can be saved.

Updated File Maintenance section as follows:

  • Updated Project System Options > General - Tab section to detail the 'Send PM Notifications for Action Items' option and the 'Save Record Reminder' option.

  • Updated Project System Options > General - Tab section to move 'Spec Section LOV Options' and 'Spec Sub-Section LOV Options' from the General tab to the Submittal tab, as these settings are related to Submittals.

  • Updated Company/Project Control > Change Management - Tab section with details about the 'Populate Billing Amount from RFQ Tab' checkbox.

  • Updated Project Maintenance section with updated screenshots to reflect new functionality. Also added details about the [Sync Data] button on the Data Exchange tab.

  • Updated File Maintenance > Local Tables > Submittal Status section to provide details about two new columns: Class and I/O Response Default.

  • Added new section for User Defaults Maintenance.

ESS Employee and Applicant - R12

Updated Payment Administration section with a new subsection for the Benefit Enrollment screen.

Enterprise Content Management - R12

Updated Overview section to indicate that Explorer will also generate links on PDF files for SPECMGMT document types so that when these PDF files are opened in PSPDF viewer, users can click on link annotations to navigate to the document record.
Updated the Installation of Plug-Ins section to include download links for ECM Explorer, ECM Outlook, and ECM Word.
Updated CMiC Search & Indexer > CMiC Indexer section with new R12 screenshots and functionality.
Updated ECM Explorer > Document Data Extraction - Pop-up Window > Drawings Extraction section with a note to indicate that once drawings are extracted, they can be viewed in PSPDF viewer in CMiC Field and Mobile Field, where users can add image annotations, and publish/unpublish link annotations.

Equipment Costing - R12

Updated Enter New Equipment > Equipment - Section with details regarding the [Copy Equipment] button.

E-Time - R12

Updated E-Timesheet Entry > E-time Access Codes section to reflect new functionality.
Updated E-Timesheet Entry > Crew & Mechanic Time Overview > Crew Timesheet Entry section to change the label for the Prior Period field to "Exclude Time from OT Processing" and update the description. Also updated the description for the Actual Work Date field to indicate that the date is then referenced in Job Costing for billing purposes.
Added new quick guide for Registering for E-Time.

General Ledger - R12

Updated Setup > Maintain Companies section with a new subsection for the IFRS Exceptions tab.
Updated Transactions > Working with Batches section to clarify that only a batch name (i.e. description) can be customized, not the batch number.
Updated Financial Document Formatter 2.0 section and Appendix B - Financial Document Formatter 1.0 with updated details under the Setting Up the Ratio Math Function subsection since ratios are not a stored variable and have to be applied specifically to a range row. Also updated FDF 2.0 > Overview section to clarify that FDF 2.0 is under development, not deprecated.

Getting Started - R12

Updated ADF Screens > Searches, Table Filters & Sorts section to clarify how searches are performed using the three main searching options: Query by Example, Find, and Search. The section titled Advanced Searches was removed as it no longer applies.

Updated JSP Screens section to include a new subsection titled JSP Searches which explains applying query filters, query operators, and substitution variables.

Human Capital Management - R12

Updated File Maintenance > Employee Maintenance section to include details about the 'Access To Self Service' checkbox and the 'Access To Etime' checkbox.

Human Resources - R12

Updated Personnel section as follows:

  • Added new subsection for Employee Dashboard.

  • Updated Asset Tracking section to indicate that the Items by Employee/Applicant screen tracks assignment of company assets to employees for tracking purposes only, meaning that no transactions are created.

Imaging - R12

Updated Working with Images > Entering/Updating Flysheet Data section to add a note regarding the use of unified flysheets.

Updated Imaging Setup section as follows:

  • Updated Imaging Control > Imaging Controls - Tab > Invoice Validation - Section with additional details to clarify the difference between the 'Save SOV Retainage Percent from Last RFP' checkbox and the 'Update Default Retainage on SOV from the Last SC RFP' checkbox. Also added details to 'RFP Amount Cannot Exceed Contract Balance' checkbox to clarify how this option works with registered RFPs.

  • Updated Imaging Control > Imaging Controls - Tab > Workflow Notifications and Display Options section with details regarding the 'Copy User Comment from Notification to Audit History' checkbox.

  • Created new subsection for Dynamic Flysheet Builder.

Added Appendix E to provide details regarding Assigning Priority to Imaging Documents.
Added Appendix F to provide details regarding Importing Detail Data for Registered Invoices.
Updated Quick Guides section with a new quick guide for Generating Fillable PDFs.

Job Billing - R12

Updated Creating a Billing Contract > [Mass Update] - Block Toolbar Button section to include details about the 'Blank' checkbox that can be used to specify blank as a value during mass update.
Updated Preparing the Billing > G/C Prepare Billing (General Contractor Prepare Billing) - Screen section with new subsection for Adding Group Codes 1 to 5 to the Bill Code Detail Tab.

Updated Setup section as follows:

  • Updated Creating Surcharge Codes section to include details about the Job field and Hour Type field.

  • Updated Defining Invoice Formats section to detail that the 'Show Remit To' checkbox will be available when the JBPB_U10 invoice format is selected in the Invoice tab.

Added the following new quick guides:

Updated Frequently Asked Questions > Invoice Report Layouts section to include details about the Progress Billing type U_10_TR invoice format.

Job Costing - R12

Updated Creating a Job > Assign Cost Codes (Phases) - Screen section to reflect that this screen now has the [Notes] button available in the Block Toolbar.
Updated Creating a Project > Enter Project section with details about the Owner field, located on the General tab of the Project Maintenance screen.
Updated Reports > User Defined Reports – Screen > [Continue] – Button with additional details about the functionality of the 'Suppress Zeros' checkbox.
Updated Utilities > Document Options - Screen section with a cross-reference to the CMiC Field R12 guide and removed any duplicated content since it is the same screen in both modules (Pgm: PMOPTFM).

Updated Setup section as follows:

  • Added screenshots to Setup Cost Code Segments - Screen section.

  • Updated Control File - Screen > WIP Tab section to indicate that the option selected in the Contract Amount Source field needs to be the same as the option selected for the Projected Profit Amount Source field. Also added a cross-reference to WIP Source Field Definitions section for more information on using the options available in these two fields.

  • Updated Cost Code Template - Screen to include details about the [Delete Template] button.

Created new quick guide for Setting Up Phase Segmentation.

Microsoft Integration Package - R12

Updated Document Merge with Microsoft Excel > Step 2: Create MIP Excel Document Template (Merge Template) section with details regarding merging fields in a row below the template row.

Updated Integration with Microsoft Outlook section as follows:

  • Updated Exporting CMiC Contacts to Outlook section to reflect the latest functionality.

  • Updated Exporting CMiC System Calendar to Outlook section to reflect the latest functionality

  • Removed Importing Calendar from Outlook section.

Purchase Order - R12

Updated Enter Purchase Order > Purchase Order - Section with details about the 'Lump Sum PO' checkbox.
Updated Enter Purchase Order > Purchase Order Detail - Section with details about the 'Lump Line' checkbox, as well as fields that become enabled in the Allocation pop-up window when lump sum PO functionality is being used.
Updated PO Receipts > Enter Warehouse Receipt (Warehouse Receiving) section with details about the Lump Sum Reference field.
Updated Setup > Control - Screen > Purchase Order Defaults - Tab > Other section with details about the 'Populate Item Description To Line Comment' checkbox.

Real Time Integration - R12

Added new subsection to CMiC RTI & Textura titled Setting Up Your TexturaLink Service Account.
Added new section for CMiC & GC Pay which includes a subsection for RTI Setup.

Requisitions - R12

Updated Processing Requisitions > Requisition Entry > Requisition Details - Section to provide details in the Distribution Type (DT) field about using the "I" (Inventory) distribution type.
Updated Processing Requisitions > Create Purchase Order from Requisition to provide details about the 'Inv Rec' checkbox.

Subcontract Management - R12

Updated Contracts > Enter Subcontract/Change Order > Summary - Tab section with a note to indicate that in table mode of the Subcontract Maintenance screen, the Current Amt column can be added using the Lite Editor.

Updated Payments > Entering Request for Payments section as follows:

  • Updated Details - Tab section with details about the following buttons: [Compliance], [Retainage Release], [Enter Payment Info], and [Participation].

  • Updated Amount Summary - Tab section with details regarding the Current Material Stored Amt field and the Previous Material Stored Amt field.

Subcontractor Prequalification - R12

 

Updated Self-Service section with a note to indicate that the message for the Enter Federal Tax ID prompt can be edited in CMiC Field's Prompt Maintenance screen using the "pmsspreq.Federal_Tax_Id.provide.prompt" message key and editing its associated Message field.
Updated Prequalification Setup > Prequalification Control to provide details regarding the [Approval Status Setup] button.

System Administration Guide – R12

Added new quick guide for Implementation of Tesseract Patch V12-014-1.

System Data - R12

Updated Security > Users > User Maintenance section to provide details about the Login Name field and update the related screenshots.

US Payroll – R12

Updated Local Tables > Employee Pick List section with details about the pick list code "EMP_HOME_COMP_CODE" to add the employee home company code from the Employee Profile into the employee pick list.

Updated Company Setup section as follows:

  • Updated Pay Periods section to detail new Add Days For Posting Date field and Add Days For Pay Date field.

  • Updated Pay Periods section to indicate that when selecting the check and deposit stub formats, that Canadian companies have the option of selecting Canadian pay stub and pay check formats (Check Code: PYCHK08C, Stub Code: PYSTB08C).

  • Updated Hour Types section to detail new Rate Code and Name fields.

Updated Jobs section with a new subsection for Job Premium Rate Setup.
Updated Processing > Paystub Printing section to provide more details about paystub printing functionality in Enterprise.

Updated CMiC eXpense App > Setup section to include details about the MDM setup. Also added a new section titled eXpense App - iPhone.
