Union Reciprocity

Pgm: PYUNIRECIP – Union Reciprocity; standard Treeview path: US Payroll > Setup > Local Tables > Payroll Unions > Union Reciprocity

This screen is designed to setup union reciprocity for those who wish to work outside the jurisdiction of their local union fund. Using reciprocity, benefits earned at a union fund away from a worker’s home union are sent back (reciprocated) to their home fund.

Home Union

Enter/select the union code for an employee’s home union. The full union name appears in the Union Name field.

Trade

Enter/select the trade code for the jobs the union represents. The full name of the trade appears in the Description field.

Transaction Type

Select whether the transaction is for benefits, deductions, or both.

Transaction Code

Enter the transaction code for the union. The full transaction name appears in the Transaction Name field.

Direction

Select whether the transaction is one way or in both directions.

Work Union

Enter/select the union away from home in whose jurisdiction the employee works. The full union name appears in the Work Union Name field.
