Construct CT 1.0.11 Release Notes

The new Crew Time app is now available on both iOS and Android devices, providing you with advanced features to effectively manage your single sign-on logins. Discover the new and improved app that includes Microsoft authentication/Azure capabilities for an enhanced user experience.

Enterprise customers must run this new version on patch 17-2 Hotfix 05 or higher.

New Features and Enhancements

Feature Summary Description
Crew Time Entry Users frequently click on the Units field instead of the Hours field in Crew Timesheet Entry screen, causing confusion. Font for units and unit values changed from regular to medium. A distinct background color now sets the unit row apart, aiming to reduce confusion and improve data input accuracy in the Crew Timesheet Entry screen.
Employee Dashboard The current interface for accessing the Employee Dashboard only displays the date, lacking indication of the day. To improve clarity and usability, the screen has been enhanced to include the day, month, date, and year information Users will now have a more comprehensive view of the Employee Dashboard, allowing for better clarity and understanding of the date context within the dashboard.
Menu Options Renamed and simplified the Menu Options (i.e., spill menu options). The options in the Menu Options drop-down have been renamed and simplified to "Submit," "Reject," "Approve," and "Post" for improved clarity and usability.
Timesheet Approval The current interface for accessing timesheets from the Approval screen only displays the date, lacking indication of the day. To improve clarity and usability, the screen has been enhanced to include the day, month, date, and year alongside the date information. Users will now have a more comprehensive view of the timesheet, allowing for better clarity and understanding of the date context within the Approval screen. This enhancement aims to streamline the timesheet approval process and improve user experience.

Fixes

Feature Summary Description
Crew Time Entry Adding PCI to a crew activity. The issue has been addressed to eliminate errors during the creation of a crew activity when a PCI is added in Construct CT. Customers can now seamlessly create activities without encountering errors related to a PCI.
Crew Time Entry Equipment tab fails to move horizontally and vertically when numerous equipment entries are present on a sheet. The issue has been addressed to ensure proper horizontal and vertical movement within the Equipment tab.
Crew Maintenance Adding and saving a single task in the Crew Maintenance screen. This issue has been resolved to ensure that values are saved when adding tasks using the "Add single task" option in the Crew Maintenance screen. Users can now input and save task values seamlessly. Additionally, tasks added from the Crew Timesheet Entry screen's Menu Options are also being saved correctly.
