Construct APR 1.0 Release Notes

The Construct APR app is available on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android devices, providing you with a revolutionary approach to workflow approvals. The Construct APR app is a centralized hub for all approval requests, where users can effortlessly review and approve requests in real-time. Its adaptive design ensures a consistent and seamless experience, whether accessed on mobile devices or through the web.

Both Cloud and Enterprise customers must be on Patch 19 to run this new app.

NOTE: Dark Mode and Offline Mode are not supported in this release.

New Features and Enhancements

Feature Summary Description
Separate Tabs for Approvals and FYIs Organizes workflow notifications. Approval and FYI notifications are now in separate tabs. To view only Approval notifications, click on the Approvals tab; for FYIs, click on the FYIs tab.
Portrait/Landscape View Consistent access and seamless user experience. Regardless of the device's orientation, users can access key features and information while reviewing or performing actions within the app. The subject and details of each notification are easily viewable.
Batch Operations Enables actions (approve, reject, reassign) on multiple notifications simultaneously. Users can efficiently manage multiple notifications simultaneously by selecting multiple records to approve, reject, or reassign. The "Select All" button enables quick selection or deselection of all notifications with a single click.
Filters Advanced filters for workflow notifications. Users can filter workflow notifications just like on the web, with new options such as workflow type and keys. To access filters, click on the "more" menu icon in the search field.
Search History Preserves user search history for easy navigation. Users can tap the Search icon and enter keywords to search the notification list. Alternatively, they can use the Speech to Text option by tapping the Voice Control icon. The last three searches are retained in the search history for convenience.
Sorting by Priority Allows assignment of notifications based on priority. Approval requests can be sorted by Created Date or Priority, allowing users to efficiently prioritize tasks based on urgency.
View Button Allows direct access to records in Image Manager. To view a record directly in Image Manager, select a notification from the list, tap the overflow options icon, and then click the View button at the top right corner of the screen.
Navigation Rail Displays logged-in user info and web service info. To access app details and additional options, simply tap the Hamburger icon on the left-hand side of the app. This expands the navigation rail, offering convenience and accessibility, irrespective of your screen orientation.
Instabug Enhances support and issue reporting. Should you come across any issues or bugs during your interaction with our mobile application, we highly recommend utilizing the CMiC Assist (Instabug) feature available in the navigation rail. Your reports assist us in promptly identifying and resolving any issues, ultimately enhancing the overall user experience for all.
SSO Login Provides a more secure mode of authentication.

Cloud users have two options available when logging into their company’s tenant on mobile and tablet devices:

[Sign in with CMiC]: This option is used to log in using the CMiC Classic Login screen.

[Sign in with Microsoft]: This option is used to log in using single sign-on (SSO).

The login screen for Enterprise was built so that based on the URL, SSO or basic authentication will be launched upon hitting [NEXT]. If SSO is detected, the web view is launched and users can go through the SSO login process.
