Condensed Mode for JSP Logs
Why is it Useful?
Condensed mode was added to all JSP logs. This is a system wide setting (applies to all companies and projects) that can be set for each log individually (standard or user-defined logs).
Condense mode is intended for data heavy screens where viewing as much data as possible at once is important for giving context to the information being displayed. This is true for the logs that generally fall under the Budget and Cost Management tab, such as Subcontracts, Potential Change Items and Cost Status Query.
NOTE: This feature was released in Patch 12-2 under Issue 20.23942
How Does it Work?
CMiC Field > File Maintenance > User-Defined Log Types
A 'Condensed' mode checkbox was added to the Log Types screen, where this mode can be applied to all logs, including standard or user-defined. To demonstrate, the following two screenshots provide an example of a log with the 'Condensed' box checked and unchecked.
