Imaging - Predefined Lists and Custom Lists in the Dynamic Flysheet Builder

In the Dynamic Flysheet Builder, the Dropdown List and Radio Button inputs can be edited to use either a predefined list or a custom list created by the user.

Using a Predefined List

  1. In the Dynamic Flysheet Builder, drag and drop a Dropdown List or Radio Button input from the Edit Header section to the flysheet, as shown in the screenshot below.

  2. Click on the Dropdown List/Radio Button input to edit it.

  3. Select the Predefined List radio button and click the Search icon to open the LOV, as shown in the screenshot below.

  4. The options that appear in the Predefined List LOV are ones that are not dependent on another field. If a Radio Button input is being edited and a list from the LOV that has more than 12 options is selected, then the application will prompt the user to use a Dropdown List instead.

Find the predefined list to be used for the input and click on the name to select it. The LOV will close and the name of the list that was selected will populate in the box under the radio buttons, as shown in the screenshot below.

Creating a Custom List

  1. In the Dynamic Flysheet Builder, drag and drop a Dropdown List or Radio Button input from the Edit Header section to the flysheet, as shown in the screenshot below.

  2. Click on the Dropdown List/Radio Button input to edit it.

  3. Select the Custom List radio button, as shown in the screenshot below.

  4. Enter a value for the Data field and Description field. Only the value entered in the Description field will be visible on the flysheet.

  5. To add more options, click on the Add Option button and populate the Data and Description fields as required.

NOTE: Radio Button inputs can only have less than 12 options in a list. If a list with more than 12 options is needed, use a Dropdown List input instead.

  6. If an option needs to be deleted, click on the X icon next to the associated option.
