Referral sources are records that define how an applicant came to the attention of the HR department. Use this screen to maintain referral source codes as well as set recruiter fees for those codes.

Code

Enter a code for the referral source.

Description

Enter the full description for the referral source.

Recruiter Fee Type

Select whether the recruiter fee is a flat rate, or a percentage of applicant wages.

Recruiter Fee/Percent

Enter, depending on the selection made in the Recruiter Fee Type field, either the flat amount or the percentage of applicant wages to be paid to the referral source.

Preferred Source – Checkbox

Check this box if this source is a preferred source to use.

Employee Referral – Checkbox

Check this box if this source is an employee referral.

Warranty

Enter the number of days an applicant must remain on staff before the referring employee is paid their finder’s fee. This is only applicable if the ‘Employee Referral’ box is checked.
