General Ledger - Logs

Overview

Logs are used to list and organize company data based on periods, accounts, and/or transactions. They are a type of business intelligence tool that can be used to help make informed business decisions. In this way, logs are like reports.

Within the Log screens, a query can be executed and the search can be saved for future queries. The search can be filtered to isolate a company, company name, department, account, or year. The data can also be exported within the log to a CSV file if needed. Otherwise, the Log screens are for reference only.

NOTE: The logs documented in this section are no longer provided in the standard Treeview and will need to be added using Treeview Builder.
