Construct ESS - Existing E-Time Users Without ESS Module
Overview
If you are an existing user with E-Time access in CMiC and are using an E-Time desktop or existing Time Tracker 2.0 iOS app, you can switch to the new Construct ESS application for your time entry. You must have your E-Time access linked with the Single sign-on under the Access Code Setup screen, as shown below, and linked to your E-Time access code.
Access Code Setup; standard Treeview path: E-Time > E-Timesheet > Access Codes
As the access code is linked with the SSO, under the access code administration the access code is directly linked with the employee number and the 'Owner' checkbox is checked, marking the employee as the owner of the specified access code. Once the employee goes through the registration in Construct ESS, the link below will be established with the SSO and employee number.
PYACSGRP – Assign Access Code; standard Treeview path: E-Time > E-Timesheet > Access Code Administration – Employees tab
Construct ESS
Once downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, all existing E-Time users must go through the registration process in Construct ESS. The registration process will only need to be completed once. This process will help us to identify you as a primary self-service user with a current login ID/password, and link Construct ESS with the E-Timesheet app. This will require your current employee number, date of birth, and SSN/SIN.
App Setting
Click on the Setting icon () in the Construct ESS.
If you are a CLOUD user, simply click on the CLOUD option or provide your Enterprise mobile link.
After logging into Construct ESS, the employee will be taken to the Welcome screen.
If your HR or IT team has already linked your employee number while creating your user id, then the registration step below is not required and upon clicking the [Sign in] button on the login page, you will be directly logged into the app.
For others, where registration still applies, upon clicking [Continue], the employee will be prompted for the details below.
After specifying the personal information and clicking [Continue], the employee will be successfully logged into Construct ESS.
