Publish Projects to Project Gateway Dashboard

To publish a Project to the Project Gateway system, launch the Project Maintenance screen, select the Gateway tab, and click the [Edit Publishing] (Edit) button on the screen’s toolbar (framed above).

NOTE: As discussed in the Project Role – Grant Privileges for Project Gateway section of this guide, the [Edit Publishing] (Edit) button is only available to users with the ‘Gateway -Publish/Revoke a Project’ Project Role privilege.

Next, as shown above, select the ‘Private’ radio button (see following subsection for details), select the relevant settings and click the [Publish to Collaborate] button. Details about the settings on the Gateway tab are provided in the following subsection.

If publishing was unsuccessful, a message is displayed stating so, and a Publishing Status link becomes available by the Published As field to launch the RTI Log to view details about the error.

Project Publishing – Section (Gateway Tab)

Not Published – Radio Button

Indicates that the Project is not published to the Project Gateway system.

Private – Radio Button

Use this option to publish a Project for collaborators. Only invited collaborators will be able to access the Project in the Project Gateway system.

Publishing Expires

If “Yes” is selected from the Project Expires After option and the number of days after which the publishing expires is entered, after the Project is published, this field displays the date the published Project expires.

Project Expires After – Radio Button

If “Yes” is selected, a textbox appears to enter the number of days after which the Project will no longer be published and available in the Project Gateway system; otherwise, the Project does not automatically expire.

Default Project Role

This is the default Project Role assigned to invited collaborators that do not have an assigned Project Role.

Send All Project Contacts – Radio Button

Select ‘Yes’ radio button to send all Project Contacts to the Project Gateway system.

Gateway SSO Passthrough – Checkbox

This checkbox is a display-only flag that indicates to the user if the invitee will pass through SSO.  The ‘Collaborate – Gateway SSO passthrough’ option is set on the General tab of the Project System Options screen. If this option is checked, then the Default Ldap Server field will become enabled.

Default LDAP Server

Default LDAP server to use for collaborator.  This field becomes visible when the ‘Collaborate – Gateway SSO passthrough’ option is set on the General tab of the Project System Options screen.

Invitation Template

[Preview] / [Preview Off] – Button

Displays preview of invitation to be sent to collaborator, as follows:

[Editor]/ [Editor Off]– Button

Displays the HTML editor to edit the invitation template, as follows:

Last Published

Date Project was last published to Project Gateway system.

Last Publishing Change

Date of last publishing change.

Invitation Expires After – Radio Button

If “Yes” is selected, a textbox appears to enter the number of days after which the invitation to collaborate expires; otherwise, the invitation will not automatically expire.

Default Security Role

This is the default JSP Security Role assigned to invited collaborators that do not have an assigned JSP Security Role.
