Accounts Receivable - Using Treasury Receipt

Accounts Receivable > Receipt > Enter Receipts

Treasury Receipt can be used when a dedicated company/department is set up to handle inter-company/department receipts. The fields involved in using this functionality are hidden by default and users must use Lite Editor to make the fields visible in the Selection Criteria section of the screen, as shown in the screenshot above.

Cash Comp

Enter/select cash company. The company selected here will default into the Detail section of the screen. The cash company must have the same chart code as that of the batch company.

Department

Enter/select the cash department. The department selected here will default into the Detail section of the screen.

Account

Enter/select the cash account. The account selected here will default into the Detail section of the screen.

Treasury Receipt - Checkbox

If checked, allows treasury receipts in the cash company and allows the selection of cross-company jobs and related invoices. When a job is not selected, users will be able to select cross-company invoices for the same customer as well. If unchecked, the standard functionality of AR Receipt Entry applies and no inter-company jobs will be allowed to be selected.

Accounts Receivable > Receipt > Enter Receipts

Select the cash company, department and account and check the 'Treasury Receipt' checkbox. The values will default into the Detail section of the screen. This is also a convenient way of auto-populating the cash account information, if entering multiple receipts with the same cash account.

Accounts Receivable > Receipt > Enter Receipts

When the 'Treasury Receipt' checkbox is checked, cross company jobs are available.

Accounts Receivable > Receipt > Enter Receipts

When 'Treasury Receipt' checkbox is unchecked, cross company jobs are not available. Only batch company jobs are listed in the Job List pop-up window.
