CMiC Field R12 (App) 1.0.20 Release Notes

Enterprise Customers: This app requires Mobile Hotfix B57. If you are running an older version of the mobile hotfix, the app will continue to function but some new features will not be accessible. We will provide "best effort" support to customers running older versions of the Mobile Hotfix - but cannot guarantee resolution/delivery timelines unless you update to B57.

Cloud Customers: No action is required on your part.

New Features and Enhancements

Feature Summary Description
Infrastructure Online/Offline Mode Messaging The app was checking the network status too frequently and the UI change to indicate that it was offline was jarring for the user. We replaced the app bar color change with a simple Green/Red indicator on the user's profile photo.
Infrastructure Saving Data Locally First To make the app more reliable while connected to a slow/weak network, we are now saving all data/files locally before attempting to upload to the server. This ensures that no data is ever lost due to poor network conditions and creates a better user experience as the upload runs in the background, freeing up the user to continue to work on the app. This new implementation is available on RFIs, Issues, Drawings and Punch Lists. It will be available for the rest of the app shortly.
