CMiC Field - Using AI Drawing Extraction

To access AI Drawing Extraction, users must ensure the following setup steps are complete:

1. Licensing

Users interested in using this functionality should contact their Account Manager. A support case will be created to enable the required AI licensing.

NOTE: This licensing setup step applies only to Enterprise and newly-implementing Cloud customers. All currently implemented Cloud customers already received the required AI licensing as of Patch 22 and do not need to submit a request.

2. System Privileges

Once licensing has been enabled, assign the privilege ' AIASKAL – CMiC AI: Allows the user to use "AI" functionality'. This is done in the System Privileges tab of the User Maintenance screen in the System Data module.

  2. Upload your drawing sheets.

Once the extraction has completed, users will be able to verify their sheets and publish their drawings as expected.

NOTE: While the AI tool greatly reduces the amount of manual input required, minor adjustments may occasionally be needed to ensure all details are captured correctly. As part of best practice, a final review ensures the highest level of accuracy and consistency across your drawing sets before publishing.
